Day 1 - Arrival Cochin

Arrival at the Cochin airport where you will have a reception while waiting transfer to yoru hotel. That afternoon you will explore Cochin. Your first stop is at the St. Francis Church, built in 1503 by the Portuguese. Then you’ll visit the Mattancherry Palace or "Dutch Palace" built by the Dutch and later on handed over to the local king. At the harbor, you can see unique Chinese fishing nets, which marks the visit of Chinese people in Cochin. You’ll also visit the Jewish Synagogue, built in 1558. Around the Synagogue, you can buy many antique things. That evening you will enjoy a Kathakali Dance Show which depicts 400 years of history and old legends in this breathtaking dance drama. The dancers wear painted fantastic costumes and color their faces with red, green and black inks. Every gesture and movement by every dancer has a special meaning. After the show you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Cochin - Munnar

After breakfast you will drive to Munnar. Munnar is over 5000-foot-high mountain station surrounded by a stretch of mountains covered with tea plantations. Munnar is the trade center for special teas, lying on one of the world's highest cultivating areas. You can see the rare Nilgiri Tahr (a type of mountain goat), enjoy the panorama, or climb the cliffs of Anamudi (1380 feet), south India's highest mountain tip. You will stay overnight in Munnar.

Day 3 - Munnar

After breakfast, you will go for a tour of Munnar. You will visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam. You’ll also visit the Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary, Tea Plantations, and Blossom gardens. You’ll stay overnight in Munnar.

Day 4- Munnar - Periyar (Thekkady)

After breakfast you’ll drive to Thekaddy. This trip through the mountains, spice plantations and tea plantations will definitely energize your senses. After your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for rest and refreshment. In the late afternoon you’ll enjoy a boat trip in Periyar Wildlife National Park. This park is one of the world’s best places to see elephants in their natural surroundings. Before sunset, you’ll also be fortunate to see other wild animals visit the bank of Periyar Lake to drink and eat. You can also enjoy a pleasant walk in the markets before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Thekkady - Kumarakom (Backwaters)

After breakfast you will drive to Kumarakom. On the way you’ll visit a Spice Farm (optional), where you can see various spice plantations such as cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, peppermint, clove, vanilla, ginger, chili, tea and coffee plants. Upon your arrival you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Then you will have a late afternoon boat trip through Lagoons in the Backwaters. You’ll have an overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Day 6 - Kumarakom

Day at leisure. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala amidst the lush green environment of palm trees. Alternatively, you can enjoy a special Kerala massage and other Ayurvedic treatments in the Ayurvedic center of your hotel. This will definitely rejuvenate your senses. You’ll have an overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Day 7 - Houseboat

Your boat cruises through the narrow backwater canals of Kumarakom and Alleppey and at the same time, you can observe the daily life of the Kerala people living on the banks of Backwaters. Day 8 - Houseboat - Kovalam

Houseboat arrives at Alleppey. After breakfast, you will leave the houseboat and be transferred by car to your beach hotel of Kovalam. Kovalam is the internationally acclaimed beach destination of India with its white silvery sand beaches. Rest of the day is free. You will stay overnight in Kovalam.

Day 9 to Day 14 - Kovalam Beach Hotel

Spend the most beautiful five days of your life at Kovalam beach hotel. You can also make same day excursions to Trivandrum to visit the Padmanabhaswani Temple, Horse Palace (museum), Sri Chitra Art Gallery or the Napier museum or to Kanyakumari (Cape Camorin).

Day 15 - Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Trivandrum airport for your journey home.
