Day 1 - Welcome to Delhi!
The first stop of Top India Travel's Rajasthan India tour package is your arrival at the Delhi International Airport. This will be followed by a reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Delhi is the capital of India, a huge country with over 16 million population. Delhi can be easily compared against cities like Athens, Rome and Istanbul when it comes to the cultural, architectural and historical riches.
Day 2 - Exploring Delhi
Go exploring Delhi for the second day of your Rajasthan India tour package. After breakfast, go to an expedition of the Old Town and New Delhi. In ancient Delhi, you will discover Fort Rouge, made during the 17th century by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan who has resided previously in Agra. This fortress stands 33-meters high, and is made of red stone walls surrounded with beautiful gardens and exquisite palaces.
Found in front of the Jama Masjid is the 1656-construction of red sandstone and white marble. It is the largest mosque in India where 20,000 people can pray together. You can also get a feel of how to ride a Rickshaw along the streets of old Delhi. It also runs counter to the Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi (Father of the Nation) Memorial, which is close to the river Yamuna. Next, you will visit the Humayun Tomb of the second Mughal emperor, which was complemented by his wife in the 16th century. Shahjahan gave the idea for the structure of the Taj Mahal. The Qutub Minar, a 72-meter high tower made by one of the first Muslim leaders in India, was built between 1199 and 1368. It runs counter to Rashtrapati Bhawan, the residence of the President of India. From hereon you can see the buildings of government and parliament and India Gate which is 42-meters high - this was built in memory of the soldiers who died in the First World War. Finally, you will go back at the hotel to retire for the night.
Day 3 - From Delhi to Mandawa
After breakfast on day 3 of your Rajasthan India tour package, you will go to Mandawa and drive through the villages of Rajasthan. After arrival, you will transfer to a hotel, have a hearty lunch and opt for a tour of 150 to 200 year-old havelies or old houses, which are painted by traditional colors. These havelies belong to the rich community, who were entrepreneurs during those days while at the same time depicting the daily lives of villagers in the streets of the village. You will go back to the hotel later on to spend the night.
Day 4 - From Mandawa to Binaker
For day 4 of your Rajasthan India tour package, you will drive over to Bikaner. Bikaner was established in 1488 by Rao Bikaji and it forms a haven in the heart of the desert with its sand dunes. The metropolis preserves a lot of gothic structures with sandstone houses and the metropolis walls. Then, you will pay a visit the Junagarh fort, which unusually stands on the valley as compared to all other Rajasthan which are on a hill and are walled by a ditch. Day 5 - From Binaker, to Oscian, to Jaisalmer

The next item on the tour itinerary is to visit the 7th century Mahavira Jain Temple and the two-century old Jija Mata Temple at Oscian village. All day, you can soak in the beauty of the incredible city of Jaisalmer. Journey through fascinating landscape of deserts where you can watch sheep meadows and women in their colorful Saris with jugs of water balanced on her head. Prior to arriving in Jaisalmer, you can see the amazing metropolis from afar. By the time that you arrive in Jaisalmer and transfer to the hotel, you can enjoy the most beautiful time of the day - sunset at Bada Bagh, the Royal Cenotaph in the city where you can soak in the beauty of the unique reddish gold colors of the settings sun.
Day 6 - Exploring Jaisalmer
For day 6 of your Rajasthan heritage tour, you can explore Jaisalmer right after a satisfying breakfast. Jaisalmer is abuzz with activities and this metallic metropolis, with its large fort thronging over the metropolis, forms a haven in the desert Thar. Herem you can also have a view of Patwaon-Ki-Haveli, Nathmalji-Ki-Haveli and Salim Singh-Ki Haveli, which is as good as some Jain-temples. Day 7 - From Jaisalmer to Jodhpur

Currently, the metropolis lies around the visiting Mehrangarh fort. The Mehrangarh fort was built in 1459 on a 37-meter last sandstone hill. From hereon, you can soak in the view of the used township and the painted low houses of priests by Jodhpur, which is marked too the low metropolis. After that, you will go to the Jaswant Thada, a great Cenotaph, which was built in 1899 for Maharajah Jaswant Singh II. After luncheon you can saunter through the older markets, where you can sample Indian spices. After a busy day touring, you can retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 8 - From Jodhpur, to Ranakpur, to Unaipur
After having your morning meal, you will drive to Udaipur and visit Ranakpur where three beautiful Jain temples have been standing since the 14th and 15th centuries. The head of the temple Adinatha (1439) was built for 65 years in marble, with 80 domes supported by 1,444 different pillars carved where, amazingly, no two are alike. It is one of the five holy places of pilgrimage Jain. After visiting, you can havelunch at a restaurant nearby and proceed to Udaipur. By the end of the day, you will transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 9 - Visiting Udaipur
The culmination of your Rajasthan heritage tour will bring you to Udaipur. Udaipur lies in the Girwa valley in the middle of the Aravali hill and is described as a dreamy city with lakes, gardens, temples and palaces. Early in the morning, you can visit the city of palaces on the banks of Lake Pichola. It was built in 1570 by Maharana Udai Singh. The impressive complex of several palaces is a blend of Mughal and Rajput influence. Next, you will see the Jagdish Temple built in 1651 - this is a beautiful example of temple architecture in the style of Nagara. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Pichola. Next, you can rest for the rest of the night at the hotel.
Day 10 - From Udaipur to Roopangarh
For day 10 of your Rajasthan heritage tour, you will drive to Roopangarh after breakfast. This is a peaceful village, founded by the 5th sovereign Maharaja Kishangarh Roop Singh during the 16th century. Next, you will transfer to Fort Roopangarh, a beautiful luxury hotel and also visit the colorful villages of Roopangarh. Later on, you will spend the night at the Hotel Fort Roopangarh.
Day 11 - From Roopangarh to Jaipur
After breakfast, you will drive to Jaipur and then transfer to the hotel for some refreshments. Then, there will be a whole day tour of Jaipur. First, visit Fort Amber (11km), the ancient capital of Kachhawaha Rajputs. It lies on a 130-meter high hill and is surrounded by the mountain range called the Aravalli. Afterwards, you will pay a visit to the Pink City of Jaipur. On the road, you will get to make a judgment in the landmark of the city, the Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds. This five-story, 18th century building has 953 windows and niches where women observed the royal procession in the streets without being seen. In addition, it goes to the fortress Amber, which is on 130-meter high hill and is surrounded by the mountain range known as the Aravalli. Then, you will get to visit the Pink City, Jaipur’s Palace city (1734) which is situated in the heart of Jaipur and is now the residence of the royal family of Jaipur and is converted into a beautiful museum. After that, you will see the Jantar Mantar, an observatory. The city founder Jai Singh II built this structure in the 18th century. The instruments are no longer made of stone and marble and were used to observe the sky. By the end of the day, you will go back to the hotel to spend the night there.
Day 12 - From Jaipur, to Fatehpur Sikri, to Agra
On the second to the last day of Rajasthan heritage tour, you will drive to Agra after breakfast. On the way, you will visit Fatehpur Sikri which is located 40 kilometers of Agra. This former Metropolitan Akbar was built in 1569. Akbar transferred his capital to Fatehpur Sikri, but after 13 years due to water scarcity, the capital was transferred to Lahore in Pakistan, and then again in Agra. Upon arrival, you will transfer to the hotel for to spend the night there. Agra is situated on the banks of the river Yamuna and has been the seat of Mughal leaders of 16th and 17th century.
Day 13 - Final Stop: From Agra to Delhi
Finally, on day 13 of your Rajasthan heritage tour, you will pay a visit to the famous Taj Mahal (1631-1653). This structure is a virtual poem in white marble, built by Mughal ruler Shah Jahan for his deceased wife Mumtaz Mahal . His extravagant architecture reveals her secret to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. 20,000 workers with experts from Italy, France, Iran and Asia were occupied for 21 years with the monument. After the visit to Agra, you will get to see a huge and massive fort to the west bank of the river Yamuna. Agra Fort was built in the 16th century by Akbar and was completed by his grandson. Then, visit Sikandra, the impressive tomb of Akbar, the most powerful of the Mughal emperors - located 11 kilometers away from the city. Finally, after arriving in Delhi, you can transfer to the airport for subsequent flights.
