Day 1 - Arrive Cochin
Arrival and transfer to hotel. Afternoon go for a city tour and visit Jewish Synagogue, St, Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets. Overnight in Cochin.
Day 2 - Cochin - Aggati - Bangaram Island
Transfer to airport for the flight to Aggati island. On arrival fast boat transfer to hotel on Bangaram island. Overnight at beach resort on Bangaram Island.
Day 3 - Bangaram Island
Day to relax on the white sand beach and enjoy water sports. Overnight at beach resort on Bangaram Island.

General Information on the Lakshadweep Islands
The Lakshadweep is a chain of islands situated around 330 km from the coast of Kerala. There are 36 main islands having area total area of 32 sq. km., which form an archipelago of beauty. Of the 36 islands, only 10 are inhabited, and only Bangaram is opened for tourist. The language is Malayalam that of the Kerala. The administration of the territory has its seat on the island Kavaratti. There is coral atoll, endless sand beaches, sand banks and reefs and a magical under water world that invites for diving.
The islands were discovered in 435 A.D. and have today 50,000 inhabitants. The main employment of the inhabitants is fishing and cultivation of coconut palm trees. The seclusion of the islands maintained the original way of life of the inhabitants until today.
Activities: The visitors can simply laze at the beach, enjoy the sun, listen the sound of the sea and watch the moving of palms trees in the wind. In addition, the music of the sea birds and the dance of the crabs come at the beach. In this fascinating world you can undertake diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, sea kayaking, scuba-diving and yet much more. You will be assisted by a well-equipped scuba diving expert at the same time. The lagoons are shallow and are safe because of the offshore island reefs. In the vicinity, an old shipwreck was discovered recently. The under water world offers a variety of fishes, turtle and coral reefs. To the scuba diving place, you will go by a boat. Inside the reefs the beginners learn the scuba diving. The scuba diving deepness is confined to 30 meters for all. On the spot, you can rent yourself a ship for the deep-sea angling. Fishes like Barracudas, Sailfish, and Yellow fin are often fished. Earnest anglers should bring along their own equipment.
Food: There are ample coconut and fish on the island so that there is daily fresh fish for meal. The kitchen is of international standard, offers in addition local, and Indian meal. At the beach, there is also a good bar. Barbecue at the beach.
Lodging: A stay for foreign tourists is only possible on the uninhabited island Bangaram with a special visa. On this island constructed Casino group of hotels a Resort with Standard and Deluxe Bungalows. Bangaram offers a beautiful spectrum of coral reefs, turquoise bluish water, radiating white beaches and green coconut palm trees. The standards Bungalows are simple and comfortable. There are 30 standards Bungalows with palm Tree verandah, attached bathroom, ventilator and refrigerator. There are also four deluxe Bungalows, which are larger than the standard one and offer more privacy. In the middle of the island, there is a Restaurant hut - a jewel out of bamboo and palm Tree leaves. Electricity and water all around the clock (supply of electricity is through the diesel generating sets.)
Ayurveda: This beautiful environment is ideal for an Ayurveda course or a relaxing massage. The Resort offers a well-equipped Ayurvedic center.
Arrival:
By Air: There are operating flights from Cochin to Aggati Island for Bangaram. From Aggati to Bangaram, passengers are moved to Bangaram Island by fast boat and brought back to Aggati in time for their departure.
By Ship: Ships run between Cochin and Lakshadweep. They have air-conditioned cabins for first class tourists and an air-conditioned Lounge hall with push back seats for tourist class accommodation. Rates vary according to the type of accommodation as well as the package chosen. Every journey of the ship, between Cochin and an island as well as between one island and another takes anything from 3 to 20 hours. Indian meals are served on board. Some cabins are fitted with a washbasin and have common bathrooms. First class AC cabins have attached toilets. Bed linen and towels are provided. From October to April, Catamaran speed vessels operate as per monthly schedule between major islands in the northern group.
