Day 1 - Welcome to Delhi!

The first stop of Top India Travel's tour of cultural India with Nepal is your arrival at the Delhi International Airport. Delhi is India's second largest metropolis next to Mumbai, which is located in the northern part of the country. The architectural features in the city are similar to those which can be seen in Athens, Rome and Istanbul.

Day 2 - Exploring Delhi

Go exploring Delhi for the second day of your tour of cultural India with Nepal package. After breakfast, go to an expedition of the Old Town and New Delhi. In ancient Delhi, you will discover Fort Rouge, made during the 17th century by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan who has resided previously in Agra. This fortress stands 33-meters high, and is made of red stone walls surrounded with beautiful gardens and exquisite palaces.

Found in front of the Jama Masjid is the 1656-construction of red sandstone and white marble. It is the largest mosque in India where 20,000 people can pray together. You can also get a feel of how to ride a Rickshaw along the streets of old Delhi. It also runs counter to the Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi (Father of the Nation) Memorial, which is close to the river Yamuna. Next, you will visit the Humayun Tomb of the second Mughal emperor, which was complemented by his wife in the 16th century. Shahjahan gave the idea for the structure of the Taj Mahal. The Qutub Minar, a 72-meter high tower made by one of the first Muslim leaders in India, was built between 1199 and 1368. It runs counter to Rashtrapati Bhawan, the residence of the President of India. From hereon you can see the buildings of government and parliament and India Gate which is 42-meters high - this was built in memory of the soldiers who died in the First World War. Day 3 - From Delhi to Jaipur

On day 3 of your tour of cultural India with Nepal, you will drive to Jaipur to visit the Hotel Samode Palace, a 400-year old fort, which is now converted in excellent luxury hotel. You can also drive through Samode village and catch a glimpse of the unique "Pink City" where the facades of the houses and the city walls are painted in pink. Samode Palace Hotel is 400-year old fortress, which is now converted into a luxury hotel. It was made by the prime minister of the King of Jaipur. Lunch follows after exclusive mirror frescoes and paintings in the Samode Palace. Later on, you will cross Samode village and take a look on the lives of villagers in India. Upon arrival, you can transfer to the hotel and stay there for the night.

Day 4 - Exploring Jaipur

On day 4 of your tour of cultural India with Nepal,you will have an arly morning tour at the Fort Orange 911km), the ancient capital of Kachhawaha Rajputs. On the road, you will get to make a judgment on the landmark of the city, the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds). This five-story, 18th century building has 953 windows and niches where women observed the royal procession in the streets without being seen. Day 5 - From Jaipur, to Fatehpur Sikri, to Agra

Your tour of cultural India with Nepal will not be complete without a visit to Agra on day 5. After breakfast, drive to Agra. On the way, you can visit to Fatehpur Sikri (40 km from Agra), former Metropolitan Akbar, built in 1569. Akbar transferred his capital to Fatehpur Sikri, but after 13 years due to water scarcity, the capital was transferred to Lahore in Pakistan, and then again in Agra. Keep up the drive to Agra. Day 6 - Exploring Agra

Day 7 - From Agra to Khajuraho (By Train)

After arriving in Varanasi, transfer to the hotel and after a brief pause, you make a trip to Sarnath (9 km), one of the centers of the head of the Buddhist religion. Buddha preached his first sermon here after he received enlightenment. Day 9 - Touring Varanasi

Day 10 - From Varanasi to Bhairawa (Nepal)

On day 10, you will be transferred to the Sunali border of Nepal. After some immigration formalities, you will drive 2 kilometers further to Bhairawa where you can see more of Nepal.

Day 11 - From Bhairawa, to Lumbini, to Chitwan (Royal National Park)

Lumbini excursion is your first itinerary for day 11. From here, you can drive to the Chitwan Royal National Park. Your visit to India will not be complete without an elephant ride in the jungle, where you can also see other wild animals, including the return of the rhino and other wildlife where animals can be better observed. With some luck, you can also see the rare tigers and leopards.

Day 12 - Exploring Chitwan

For day 12 of your tour of cultural India with Nepal, explore the jungle and see more than 400 types of birds. Day 15 - Final Stop: From Kathmandu to Delhi

On the last day of your tour of cultural India with Nepal Today, you will be transferred to Kathmandu International Airport to board your flight to Delhi. After arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to Delhi international airport for the flight back to your country.
